“SOUTH EAST EUROPEAN INVESTMENT SYMPOSIUM

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN BULGARIA – YUGOSLAVIA”

29-30 JUNE 2002, Athens, Municipality of Aspropyrgos, GREECE

Suggested areas of investigation might include (indicative only):

-The judicial and legal framework of investment in Bulgaria and Yugoslavia

- Investment opportunities through EU funding

-Collaborative projects between medium size enterprises (suggested field

targets: food processing, tourism)

-Joint Ventures


The SEEIIA and the Municipality of Aspropyrgos are planning to invite two keynote speakers (preferably but not necessarily from South East Europe) with a view to providing an incentive framework for prospective investors. Students interested in South East European Politics and the economic development of the region are strongly encouraged to attend.

Proposals will be accepted until April 30, 2002
